Rabbit Boarding
Puffball Paradise offers safe and loving boarding for your bunny
We understand that your bunny is part of the family, and leaving them behind while you travel can be worrisome. That’s why Puffball Paradise offers safe, loving boarding for your bunny, guaranteeing they receive the best care while you’re away. Our comfortable environment will surely make your bunny feel at home.
By choosing our boarding service, you can travel with peace of mind, knowing your bunny is in the hands of experienced caregivers who will treat them like one of their own. We are committed to keeping your bunny safe and relaxed while you’re away. Please note that we require your bun, unless medically unable, to be vaccinated for RHDV2 for the safety of all boarders and sanctuary buns. Please contact us with any questions regarding vaccination.
In special cases, we are proud to offer long-term free-of-charge boarding. We know that sometimes bunny parents who want to keep their buns are unable to care for them in the short-term. As part of our mission, we are happy to board these buns to avoid rehoming bunnies who have loving families. These cases include when owners undergo medical treatment themselves and when owners are experiencing certain life events that make caring for their buns difficult. We are also always happy to work with military families as a thank you for the sacrifices you have made.
Our boarding room is a large, sunny, air-conditioned space in our home. We provide a full set up including exercise pen, litter box and hay, water bowl, house, foam/fleece bedding, toys, greens, and bunny-safe treats. You will receive regular updates on your bun, including pictures and videos. Our goal is your goal: a happy bunny!
Comprehensive care for every bunny, every day
Here’s what we do to make sure each bunny thrives:
- Medical care: We treat bunnies with conditions such as dental disease, chronic respiratory infections, seizures, arthritis, and more. This includes regular vet visits, acupuncture, surgeries, and post-op care.
- Pain management and medications: We administer daily medications and manage pain for bunnies with mobility problems, helping them remain comfortable.
- Emergency care: When bunnies experience medical emergencies such as GI stasis, we seek immediate care, including if necessary radiographs, supportive care, and ultrasound.
- Mobility support: For bunnies with limited mobility, we offer support such as vitamin supplements, clean living spaces, treatment for urine scalding, and encouragement and exercise to promote movement.
- Routine care: All bunnies receive daily care, including fresh hay, greens, clean water, a clean litter box, and toys for mental stimulation.
- Compassionate end-of-life care: When the time comes, we provide bunnies with peaceful and compassionate end-of-life care, supported by their bonded companions and a trusted vet.
