Puffball Paradise is a bunny sanctuary like no other
Puffball Paradise is a small, family-run nonprofit rabbit sanctuary. Our mission is to provide lifetime care for senior bunnies and those with medical conditions who would otherwise be unadoptable.
We work with rabbit rescues, providing a loving home, state-of-the-art medical care, and a safe, stimulating environment. Our goal is to give these bunnies a chance to live their best lives as well as spread awareness about proper bunny care.
Why rabbits need dedicated rescue efforts
Rabbits are often misunderstood, considered low maintenance, disposable, or appropriate first pets for children. But they are intelligent, social, loving creatures who often need costly, specialized care.
Many rabbits suffer neglect due to a lack of proper knowledge and care. This neglect is preventable through proper education. At Puffball Paradise Rabbit Sanctuary, we provide for each rabbit’s unique needs whether they are newborns or seniors.
Providing lifesaving care for bunnies with special needs
Proactive ear care
We proactively treat lop-eared bunnies with weekly ear medication to manage ear infections in the hope of preventing vestibular symptoms or the need for risky surgery.
Gentle care for senior bunnies
We provide individualized care for senior bunnies including pain medications, hot packs for sore muscles and joints, routine dental procedures, vitamin supplements, and acupuncture for pain relief.
Mobility and stress reduction
We use soft, padded areas for playing and booties to manage pododermatitis. We also provide consistent and reliable routines for our sanctuary bunnies which decreases day-to-day stress.
Worry-free travel for you!
We offer boarding services, ensuring bunnies are comfortable and well cared for while their families travel. All bunnies are provided a full set up in an exercise pen including a litter box with fresh hay, a water bowl, a house, and toys.

Our highly-skilled exotics vet, Avian & Exotics Philly Vet, works closely with us to provide high-quality, compassionate care for all of our sanctuary bunnies. We have extensive experience treating conditions that most rabbit caretakers may never encounter, such as amputation, head tilt, mass removal, cancer, dental disease, heart disease, respiratory disease, congenital deformities, and more.
