Our sanctuary is a special place for special bunnies
Puffball Paradise is a small, family-run nonprofit rabbit sanctuary dedicated to helping bunnies in need. We partner with rescues to provide lifelong care for senior and medically challenged bunnies who may have experienced trauma or neglect. These bunnies often face difficulty finding permanent homes that can meet their specialized needs.
Our mission is to offer these bunnies not only a place to live but to thrive. We provide a safe, loving environment where they are supported by the best medical care, thanks to our collaboration with Avian & Exotic Philly Vet Medical Surgical Clinic led by Dr. Susan J. Tyson. Our goal is to ensure that despite challenges they experience the highest quality of life in a caring and stimulating space, where all of their needs, social and medical, are met.

Give every bunny a life they deserve
Our mission is to lessen the burden on rabbit rescues by providing lifetime care to elderly, disadvantaged, and otherwise unadoptable rabbits from compromised conditions. We provide them with love, care, food, safety, and optimal medical attention, thereby allowing them an opportunity to live their best lives.
We also stand as advocates for rabbits everywhere. We offer advice as to proper housing, diet, and basic care. Our boarding services enable bunny families to freely travel and vacation while knowing their bunnies are safe until their return. Under special circumstances, we can provide long term boarding free of charge such as where an owner is undergoing health challenges.
Above all, we will always act in the best interest of the rabbits in our care.

Rabbits are the third most abandoned pet in the United States, after dogs and cats. They are often misunderstood and mistreated, regarded by some as disposable or simply seasonal pets. Tragically, well over 80% of rabbits bought as Easter gifts each year do not live to see their first birthday. Even those who are loved and kept as pets can face neglect due to a lack of proper care knowledge. But rabbits are fun-loving, curious, social, and playful companions who deserve to thrive as a part of the family.
At Puffball Paradise, our vision is to provide a permanent, loving home for bunnies with medical needs, while also fostering education about proper rabbit care. We aim to change the perception of rabbits, highlighting their ability to be loving, intelligent creatures that deserve the best care, and improve their well-being worldwide.
